Local attractions include the historic Trentham township, the famous Trentham Falls, the Wombat State Forest and Lerderderg State Park.

The Daylesford Spa area boasts many fine natural features and scenic spots, such as Lake Daylesford, Mount Franklin and the Wombat State Forest.

Tourist highlights include the spa resort of Daylesford and Hepburn Springs, with spas and massages, forest walks, restaurants and cafes, artists and galleries, and the Daylesford Spa Country Railway.

There's a wide variety of wines available in the district from the renowned Macedon Ranges cool-climate vineyards.

Food

The Trentham clubhouse provides meals and light snacks on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. See our menu.

For lunch or a coffee after your round, try the fantastic Redbeard Bakery down the alley off the main street of Trentham. Take away one of their sourdough organic loaves made in an authentic wood-fired scotch oven. Open Wednesday to Sunday.

For sandwiches, light meals, pies, cakes and take-away, the Trentham Cafe and Crafts and the Trentham Bakery are both in the main street.

Inexpensive counter meals are also available at the Trentham Hotel and the Pig and Whistle in East Trentham.

Daylesford and Hepburn Springs has a wide range of restaurants ranging from the exquisite Lake House to restaurant bars such as the award winning Convent Gallery, Frangos and Frangos and Koukla. Other quality eateries include The Farmer's Arms Hotel and the Food Gallery. There's plenty of pubs to choose from in Daylesford.
